Sarah George "Artist To The Queen." Not many people can use that title but Sarah can. In 2010 on Her Majesty's royal visit to Canada she was awarded an original piece by Sarah George as an honorary payment for Rupert's Land. Sarah was then commissioned to create additional pieces that were hung in the legislative buildings across Canada.

Sarah George always enjoyed painting and drawing but began her official career in the 70's. Many of her first works were landscapes of the Canadian prairies, the forests and mountains of Alberta, and the rivers and streams of Western Canada. She has done many commissioned works of private property and favorite pets over the years as well.

Today Sarah George has graduated into a hybrid of impressionism and abstract although she still does enjoy an excellent view of scenery. You will find her colors to be bold and delightful. They are perfect for clothing, accessories and some are even very well suited for home décor.
