Born on the Caribbean island of Trinidad, also known as, the twin Islands of Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies. I have always loved the art of writing, and doodle on blank pages. My mother would scold me often, for doodling through the pages of my composition books. Through the years, I have enjoyed my visions of adding a button, pattern, print, or simple changing the zipper, to the fabric of which they are laid upon; as I watch people pass me by. The post card views in the United States Virgin Islands brings great Visions to Light, and has been a huge source of inspiration. There is a sure, "Welcome to the Virgin Islands" in many of my pieces, that may display a flavor of Caribbean Life. So much more than the beach, enjoy fabric displays of tropical fruits, and land & sea animals; all within the surrounding views of island life. A true therapeutic plug for me. Many of my designs sprung from the worst nights; while caring for mammy, as she struggles daily through the many phases of dementia.
