Dragonfly Series
From the larger series, Valley of the Gods, the dragonfly series were painted in 2019 during James Dupree's 9 month artist in residency in Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxaca Mexico. These vibrant contemporary works were inspired by Dupree's moments of meditation in a cactus field surrounded by Dragonflies.
