Stephanie Przybylek

Stephanie Przybylek is an artist, illustrator, writer and educator who holds a BA in Art from Gettysburg College and an MA in Art History from the University of Delaware. Fascinated by creatures and the natural world, she grew up in a family filled with artists. As a kid, she thought that everyone used Prismacolors and modeling clay and had homes with art studios! After twenty years in the museum field in Pennsylvania, New York and Delaware as a curator, exhibit designer and administrator, she felt compelled to return to fine art and creative pursuits. Stephanie works in multiple mediums, including acrylic, watercolors, colored pencils and ink. She’s also known to scavenge driftwood from the Delaware River and use it in art, along with seashells, beach glass and other found objects. She loves traveling, using the experiences to gather new ideas and materials for her art. Stephanie is also an accomplished French horn player who performs in ensembles in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
